Founded in 1882 by Father Michael J. McGivney in New Haven, Connecticut, the Knights of Columbus began as a way to support Catholic families during times of hardship. Over time, the organization has grown into a global fraternity devoted to faith, service, and brotherhood. Today, the Knights continue that mission by supporting parish life, local charities, and families in need through prayer, service, and fellowship.
What We Do
We are Catholic men putting faith into action in every area of life. Our work centers around four pillars:
Faith: Helping men grow spiritually and strengthening parish life through prayer, devotion, and formation.
Family: Building strong families through faith-based activities, support, and unity.
Community: Serving those in need through acts of charity, service, and outreach.
Life: Defending the dignity and protection of every human life, at every stage and in every
condition.
